The works designated for the international Composition Workshop twice postponed by the pandemic will at last be heard in the daytime concert at Porvoo’s Voluntary Fire Brigade Hall. Their young composers have created works that differ as much as possible, and may even be in direct contrast to their previous ones. The most sharp-eared may even catch some recognisable Beethoven motifs embedded in the works as keepsakes.
